Sydney Metro CityRail
Sydney Trains [formerly CityRail] Services operate the Sydney metropolitan rail services extending to Newcastle and the Blue Mountains.
The XPT interstate services operate from Sydney to Melbourne, Sydney to Brisbane and Sydney to Canberra.
Countrylink also runs the country services to the NSW towns of Armidale - and the University of New England - Moree, Broken Hill, Griffith and Dubbo. You will find most major NSW country towns are en route to these destinations. Other towns are linked with bus services operated by associate companies.
Both XPT and Coutrylink Services are now operated from NSW Trains Link.
NOTE: All links are to English versions of the websites. Most are in local languages. If links are broken (as websites often change their templates) simply go to the home page listed and search for the country of interest.
